Mission Statement:

Our mission is to offer hope, health, and healing to those seeking help. We also provide spiritual, confidential, professional, and quality service by using Biblical principles.

Scriptural Foundation:

“Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” Proverbs 11:14 (NKJV)

Purpose:

The purpose of the Christian Counseling & Enrichment Services Center is to serve in accordance with the American Association of Christian Counselors. These guidelines help to keep Counselors abreast of procedures, laws, etc.

Notification of Counseling Needs:

Services are by appointment only. When someone needs counseling services, the Counseling Center is contacted by calling the Church office or calling the Center directly. If the office is called, the secretary will notify a Counselor. If the Center is called, a Counselor will check the office weekly for messages.

Referral Services:

The Counselors are trained and equipped to service most issues but do not provide medication. If it is determined that a client needs medication or needs counseling in an area in which they are not trained, the client is referred to other professional counselors.

Follow-up Care:

Once a client has completed counseling sessions, with the aide of the Holy Spirit s/he is then able to develop a closer relationship with the Lord. If the client needs additional assistance, the Counselors will provide additional services.

Confidentiality:

All sessions, notes, etc. are confidential to everyone. This information can only be released by written permission from the client.

Professional Credentials:

The Christian Counseling and Enrichment Services Center is staffed with licensed and/or certified Christian Counselors.

Ministry Meetings:

The Christian Counseling & Enrichment Services Center staff meetings are held quarterly in conjunction with training sessions.
