Food Service Ministry
Vision Statement:
Our ministry vision is to embrace and train individuals in the safe handling and serving of foods whether prepared in the TSAKS facility or in the comfort of their own homes. As we do this, our desire is to prepare each meal with love and that every person dining here will partake in a meal prepared from the heart.
Mission Statement:
With the serving heart, spirit and anointed hands, the Food Service Ministry promotes healthy, safe, and palate pleasing meals for our TSAKS family as well as outside clients from other churches as well as private and public entities.
Scriptural Foundation:
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:23 (NLT)
Required Certified Professional Food Managers:
The Food Service Ministry is staffed with Certified Professional Food Managers and other volunteers who have a heart to serve and give of their time, talent and gifts and knowledge as they continue to serve our church family and other churches and private and public entities. All volunteers are required to receive at least 16 hours Certified Professional Food Managers Courses and complete a background check before serving with the ministry. All new church members will be asked to complete the new members’ class before working in the Food Service Ministry.

These events will include but are not limited to Receptions, Birthday Celebrations, Church Anniversaries, Repasts, ministry activities, and outside events. The Food Service staff goal is to provide Five-Star quality service to everyone at all times.
