Vision Statement
To be highly respected as a responsible group of caring professionals; recognized for our personal commitment for caring; initiating collaboration with other local Nurses Ministries and to continue to build relationships with our patients, families and our local community.
Mission Statement:
To be a leader in providing compassionate, quality care to The Sanctuary’s congregation. We are committed to fostering a professional medical environment, to our congregation, with optimal level of health and wellness, or when possible, to support the families experiencing the loss and death of a family member. The Nurses Ministry will continue to encourage activities such as health fairs, blood pressure screenings, first aid, CPR Training, blood drives, and health awareness information distribution.
Scriptural Foundation:
“But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children: so being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.” 1 Thessalonians 2:7-8
- At least two nurses are on duty for Sunday morning worship services and Wednesday night services.
- Nurses sit on the end of each row to be easily accessible, in case of an emergency.
- The Nurses Ministry meet on a monthly basis to discuss ministry responsibilities, guidelines, and procedures.
