What Does Our Worship Service Look Like?

Considering joining The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square but not sure what to expect from a Baptist church? That’s okay!

During our worship experience, we strive to make all feel welcome, whether you have always welcomed Jesus into your heart or want to do so for the first time.

Below is an overview of what you can expect when you visit The Sanctuary.

Join Our Sunday Morning Church Services

At The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, we love seeing new faces in our congregation each week. Whether you’re just starting in your walk with Christ, or you’ve been a Christian all your life, our community of faith is here to welcome you with open arms. Perhaps you haven’t been to church in some time, and you’d like to attend one of our Sunday worship service at 9am.

Upon arrival  "You" will be welcomed into The Sanctuary by our Welcome team that consists of our (parking lot/door greeters, hospitality and usher/greeter ministries) with a warm greeting, smile, hug or fist bump.

Our Call To Worship

At 9AM our worship leader for the morning will come up to lead us in a time of worship and prayer. This is a time for us to come before God and lay all of our burdens at His feet. We also take this time to praise Him for His goodness and mercy through our various music ministries. We believe that music is a powerful tool to help set the tone for worship and allow people to feel comfortable as they enter into the presence of God.

A Word from God

Our Bishop Anthony G. Maclin, Pastor will share an inspiring powerful message that has been carefully prepared in order to promote spiritual growth and maturity. We believe that studying the Word of God  is essential for a strong relationship with God, so we take this time to dive deep into His word, listen and take any notes during the message that will keep you encouraged and help us grow as a church family.

Invitation to Christ

There are several ways to connect with the Sanctuary - At the end of every worship service, we extend the opportunity for you  to receive the free gift of  SALVATION through Jesus Christ  and make TSAKS your home church.

For Scripture reminds us in Romans 10:9 - that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
